Bird Spikes

Bird spikes serve as the primary ledge and parapet protection in any professional bird exclusion installation. Available in single, double, triple, and wide-spread configurations, spike strips can be selected and combined to match the specific surface width and bird species being excluded. Narrow strips for small ledges, wide multi-row configurations for broad parapet walls.

The two primary materials are stainless steel wire and moulded polycarbonate. Stainless steel pins are more durable, more resistant to physical damage, and more effective in coastal environments. Polycarbonate spikes are transparent and less visually intrusive, making them appropriate for heritage buildings or facade-sensitive applications where aesthetics are a priority.

Installation is permanent but non-destructive. Spike bases are bonded using professional-grade exterior adhesive or fixed with screws through pre-drilled holes. Removal is possible without structural damage if the building owner\'s requirements change.
