Pull and Dry Cloth Hangers

Pull and dry cloth hangers are retractable systems that extend from a ceiling-mounted housing when needed and retract completely out of sight when not in use. A single ceiling-mounted unit provides 4–6 drying rods that pull down to a comfortable working height and push back up flush with the ceiling when the laundry is dry — making them ideal for living rooms, hall areas, and any space where a permanent drying structure would be visually intrusive.

The mechanism uses a pulley-and-counterweight or spring-tension system to allow smooth, one-hand operation of the lowering and raising action. The rods hang level and stable at the lowered position, supporting laundry without swinging or tilting. When raised, the housing is flush with the ceiling and the unit is almost invisible — typically no more than 8–10cm projection from the ceiling surface.

Pull and dry systems are available in varying rod numbers and lengths to match different laundry volumes. The housing is made from UV-stabilised polypropylene or powder-coated aluminium and available in white or off-white to blend with ceiling surfaces. All rope and hardware components are rated for the maximum expected laundry load and are replaceable if they wear over time.
